It's Sunday, which means it's time for your curator to make his weekly appearance. Welcome to the round up, guys and dolls. Andrew Jackson here bringing you this weeks offerings.
Post of the Week goes to Tyrone with his dirge/love song to the problematic American South. Click here to read. It's well worth the time. It's also a rare non-fiction offering from Alpha60's premier short story writer. It's hearfelt and sincere; a nice piece about the South capable only from someone who lives there. Well done, Tyrone. Wouldn't mind seeing more like this out of you.
Then you have Lorenzo Kincade with his Thursday Night History Lesson...posted on a Sunday. I'm far past trying to convince that guy when Thursday is and when Thursday is not, but I will say his primer on Troubles Era Northern Ireland is his best yet in his history series and a close runner up for post of the week. You can find it by clicking here. And I hope you do. It's one of the few times I can actually recommend a Lorenzo Kincade post.
Then we had the return of Psychopath Tyrone. He wrote a story about a guy putting his shirt on, among other things. Oh, Tyrone, we worry and care about you. Still, it's nice to see you never change. Keep it up, pal. AH! this is the link to his story which I almost forgot to include. It's a short piece but a long sentence. And it's pretty good.
Comment of the Week: Wet sneakers squeaking on a gym floor.
That does it for this week. Thank you for your support of Alpha60.
